“With a five-month trend in revenue above benchmark, restoring these local aid funds cuts is both fiscally responsible and justified,” said Diehl. “The accounts outlined in our letter to Governor Patrick are essential for the basic operations of the cities and towns across the Commonwealth.”

“While everyone in my district knows Christie and the wonderful things she does for people in our community and for the soldiers of Massachusetts, she doesn’t always get the recognition she deserves,” said Diehl. “I am so proud of the fact that she has been acknowledged by the state for years of putting others ahead of herself.”
